"stay at nearly snowless Mammoth"
"It was fine, pretty good. I know the condo company cannot be held responsible for our drought, and of course, we were expecting little or no snow."

"Great condo near Canyon"
"It's a great condo in a perfect location near Canyon Lodge, perfect for us with three pre-teen kids! Everyone loved the comfy couch! I would have liked to know that one bedroom is upstairs with the kitchen and living room, none of the kids wanted to stay up there alone.
It would have been nice to know how far the jacuzzi is from the unit, it was way down the hill, and we didn't end up using it, mostly because it would have been way too cold to walk (wet) up the slightly icy hill. That was the only little bummer."

"Love Mammoth West"
"We have stayed at many units at Mammoth West. This one was very nice, had a great view of the ski runs, and was very quiet. My only two comments would be that the living room furniture is a little dated. Also, this unit is at the top of the hill that the property is built on, so it's a bit of a hike from the jacuzzi or walking back from lifts. My family had a wonderful weekend.

"Ski Getaway"
"We had a great time. The condo was well equipped except for the BBQ which neeeded a lot of help. Good location but not "steps" to Canyon Lodge unless you're a mountain goat. We would rent again.

"Large nice unit. FAR from jacuzzi and slopes"
"Great unit. Don't let the location in Mammoth West fool you. It is so far up the hill that it is a serious trek to the jacuzzi. Forget walking to the slopes (though you could easily ski back via the Village Ski Back Trail).

"Old Faithful"
"The good: top of the hill provides an amazing view, bonus room down stairs was great for the kids, place was clean, parking is easy (right in front), real wood burning fireplace.
The bad: Long walk to slopes (because you are at the top of the hill), shower heads are chest height, fireplace was loaded with ash, the upper room is a bit funky with it's door configuration.

"2nd stay in two years"
"We stayed six nights - 4 adults, two kids and for two nights 6 adults. The sleeper sofa pull out bed was too uncomfortable, but for the rest if us the condo was in a great location and was very enjoyable.

"Great Ski Week and Family Retreat"
"Mammoth West was a great location for ski week. We were a short walk to Canyon Lodge, but the unit was up on a hill that you will need to walk down each day. The air is extremely dry in the unit in winter, so consider bringing a travel humidifier. Kitchen had everything you could need for prep of meals and serving. Nicely furnished with good HDTV and Fios. Only complaint - top/front bedroom had a very uncomfortable mattress. All beds had heating blankets, which was nice/convenient."

"our stay at Mammoth West Townhomes "
"You can, and we did walk to Canyon Lodge from our Mammonth West townhome (we placed our equipment in the ski lockers ahead of time)& skied back the "Village Ski Back Trail" off Chair #7, was just PERFECT for us. We have been to Mammoth West before thanks to our friends who invited us. So we went back again, knowing what to expect (pictures of our unit on the web site) and was again, very pleased with the reservation service, check in/out, and a minor quick repair management completed for us at our request. They had it all covered, just bring your clothes and food and your ready. PS. We had a perfect view of 2009 Canyon Lodge Christmas Lights/Fireworks Show from our living room & balcony #142. "
